Law360 (December 21, 2023, 6:52 PM EST) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration does not like pina colada flavored vapes or those shaped like liquor bottles, according to another round of warning letters sent to retailers caught selling unauthorized products that appeal to young people.

Federal tobacco regulators are once again wagging their finger at online retailers who are selling vapes that are attractive to young people. This time they are shaped like whiskey bottles. (Court Documents)

Federal tobacco regulators are giving three online retailers 15 days to stop selling Luckee Vape Daniels branded products, according to three letters issued Wednesday. The products not only lack premarket authorization, they also look like little bottles of Jack Daniel's whiskey, which appeals to underage users, the agency said in an announcement.

The e-cigarette flavors also appeal to young people, the FDA said, noting that Luckee Vape Daniels comes in icy pina colada, frozen strawberry daiquiri, frozen mangorita and watermelon martini. The retailers caught in the agency's crosshairs this time include Vaproma Inc. of Fairfield, California, and two others without officials business names or addresses: Vape-X Club and Disposable Vapez.
