Texas' largest medical cannabis facility has opened in Bastrop, spanning 75,000 square feet as the new headquarters for provider Texas Original. This expansion from a prior 7,700 square foot space boosts production and patient access statewide. Key features include a hybrid greenhouse for the state's first sun-grown medical cannabis harvest, advanced manufacturing and testing labs for higher output, improved packaging and delivery for better logistics, and capacity for more patients. The opening follows less than a year after Texas House Bill 46 expanded eligible conditions for the medical marijuana program.
