Beloved Horse Sculpture Returns to Woody Harrelson’s WeHo Cannabis Lounge After Repairs

The horse sculpture outside actor Woody Harrelson’s West Hollywood cannabis lounge and dispensary, The Woods WeHo, is back in place after being severely damaged in a vandalism incident last week.

The statue, a popular fixture at 8271 Santa Monica Boulevard, was attacked Thursday by an unknown assailant who was caught by security cameras viciously attacking the sculpture, and knocking it to the ground. Photos revealed a large crack in the horse’s neck, a gash by its front leg which was broken off.

The damage required extensive welding work, costing more than $3,000, according to Devon Wheeler, co-founder and chief operating officer of ERBA, which operates The Woods.

“Decades on the boulevard would make anybody a war horse — scar stories the best,” Wheeler said. “He’s bolted down now. It’s gonna take more than a bull to move him.”

Wheeler said the sculpture will undergo a final patina treatment as part of its restoration.

Authorities have not released any information about the suspect or motive behind the attack.

The WOODS is a cannabis dispensary and consumption lounge offering expert recommendations for all levels of cannabis experience. Private, cabana-style smoking rooms are available for rent or walk-ins, each accommodating 8–10 people. With valid ID, guests may access bongs and dab rigs, along with complimentary papers, grinders, tips, lighters, and games.

The lounge also features a THC consumption bar, serving cannabis-infused drinks in doses ranging from low to maximum strength. Complimentary, non-medicated coffee and tea are also available at the bar.
