Cleveland-based health tech company EM2P2 launched CannaLnx, a platform that lets patients use existing insurance or wellness benefit dollars for medical cannabis purchases and related physician visits in legal states. Partnered exclusively with the American Council of Cannabis Medicine (ACCM) for its Elevated States initiative, the system works through licensed brokers and third-party administrators (TPAs). It provides compliant reimbursements of $100-$175 monthly for qualified expenses without requiring new insurance plans or federal changes. CannaLnx verifies eligibility, validates transactions, processes claims, and integrates with electronic records and dispensaries while remaining HIPAA-compliant. Available in 39 states with medical cannabis programs, it supports ERISA and health-sharing plans for individuals, families, gig workers, and employers. Early TPA partners include Detego Health, 90 Degrees, Iron Health, and broker group United Agencies. CEO Gennaro Luce emphasized its legality: “It’s private, state-compliant, and auditable. No taxpayer money. No federal entanglements.” ACCM sees this as a step toward mainstream healthcare integration of medical cannabis.
