Industry Excitement
Guidelines don't deter support.
Employees at Verts Neighborhood Dispensary back it.
“We’ve got folks who are double amputees who happily come in and chat with us to get their medicine but it’d be nice to elevate that service a little more,” said Alex Roschitz, vibecheck coordinator at Verts.
Client Focus
Large number of Verts’ clients are veterans.
“A lot of veterans, a lot of you know folks are older folks, people with limited mobility for whatever reason, so I think this could be could be huge for us,” he said.
“We don’t have a drive-through at this spot so it’ll be really nice to be able to help some of our loyal customers out here and be able to make things more accessible.”
Benefits for All
Dispensaries with drive-thru see value.
“They love it when they pull up they’re like ‘A drive thru?” For me that’s something that’s made in movies," said Brandon Grant, assistant general manager at Proper Cannabis in downtown Kansas City.
Looks forward to more options.
“It’s gonna help older people, people with disabilities that can’t get out of their cars,” Grant said.
