MKX, a leading Michigan-based cannabis company, and Blazy Susan, a global accessories and lifestyle brand, have launched a collaborative campaign to support breast cancer awareness initiatives year-round. The campaign follows MKX's efforts during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October and involves donating a portion of every product sale to local Michigan-based charities, including the Chicago-based Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation. This initiative pairs sales with contributions to nonprofits serving affected communities, highlighting the roles of cannabis and ancillary companies in cancer care.

The International Agency for Research on Cancer reports that one in 12 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, the second most common cancer globally and the leading cause of cancer deaths among women. The companies emphasize that fighting breast cancer requires ongoing efforts beyond October.

The campaign was conceived by Issam Kaoud, Chief Operations Officer of 4K Processing, Inc., MKX executives Sam, Omar, and Christian Kaoud, and Blazy Susan’s CEO Will Breakell. Personal connections drive the effort: the Kaoud family has been affected by cancer, including the MKX founder's father who treated brain cancer with Rick Simpson Oil; Breakell's mother is a breast cancer survivor, and his company's Director of Impact's grandmother was a survivor, though her cousin died at age 36.

To support the cause, the companies are launching a co-branded line of 30-Pack Infused Pre-Rolls, featuring 0.5g Liquid Diamond Infused Pre-Rolls in Lemon Cherry Gelato, Pink Champagne, and Raspberry Rose cultivars. This limited-release small batch is available at Michigan dispensaries such as Puff Cannabis, Pure Cannabis, JARS Cannabis, House of Dank, and King of Budz.

Breakell stated, “By supporting cancer research, we’re working towards a future where breast cancer is a thing of the past.” Christian Kaoud added, “We at MKX are deeply honored to collaborate with Blazy Susan on such an impactful and meaningful project... this initiative carries profound significance for our team.”

Blazy Susan, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, is known for its rolling papers, eco-conscious products, and community commitments, with GMP certification. MKX Oil Co., based in Detroit, Michigan, focuses on premium cannabis products for holistic healing. The Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation, Chicago-based, has raised over $50 million since 1985 for research, education, and trials to end breast cancer.
