Ohio House passes bill regulating intoxicating hemp products, changes state’s marijuana laws

The Ohio House passed Senate Bill 56 with bipartisan support (86-8 vote), introducing regulations for intoxicating hemp products including age restrictions, licensing limits, testing standards, and a 10% tax while also modifying state marijuana laws by reducing THC potency limits, capping dispensaries, prohibiting public smoking, and allowing expungement applications for low-level convictions, with the bill now returning to the Senate for concurrence.
