Actor Seth Rogen says lobbying to restrict THC beverages proves the alcohol industry feels threatened by their rising popularity. He expects consumer demand to prevail.
In a Bon Appétit interview, Rogen called THC drinks an “entry-level weed product” safer than alcohol and criticized state bans as patronizing. “We know it’s not more dangerous than alcohol,” he said.
He celebrated THC drinks appearing in bars, restaurants, and even Target stores in Minnesota. Rogen has long advocated for cannabis normalization and federal legalization.
