On December 2, 2024, a rally will be held at the DEA Museum in Arlington, Virginia, to protest the rescheduling of cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III.

Organizers are advocating for full descheduling, citing the need to rectify the harms of the War on Drugs, ensure equal access, and prevent control by big pharmaceutical companies. They believe descheduling would benefit veterans, cannabis users, and nonviolent offenders.
To attend the hearing, participants must submit a notice of intention by September 30, 2024.
