Nebraskans for Medical Marijuana (NMM) announced a statewide town hall tour on February 9, 2026, to educate residents about Nebraska’s medical cannabis program following voter approval. The tour informs patients, families, healthcare providers, law enforcement, and community members on program status, access issues, and how legislative/regulatory decisions affect implementation. It encourages questions and dialogue for transparency and accountability. NMM Executive Director Crista Eggers stressed that Nebraskans supported medical cannabis at the ballot box and urged decision-makers to honor that mandate through proper education and patient protections. Scheduled stops include Scottsbluff Public Library (February 11), North Platte Pizza Ranch (February 12), Grand Island Pizza Ranch (February 13), Aurora Public Library (February 14), and Lincoln IBEW Local 265 (February 16). The initiative by NMM aims to advance safe, regulated medical marijuana access in Nebraska, addressing ongoing questions about rollout, patient rights, and compliance amid evolving state and federal landscapes. The tour promotes broader engagement to ensure effective program development.
