Oklahoma orders Tulsa dispensary to close over unlicensed marijuana

The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority issued an emergency suspension order against Bud Guys Dispensary in Tulsa after an inspection uncovered serious violations. Located near 49th West Avenue and Charles Page Boulevard, the dispensary possessed 133 products from unlicensed processors OK Farms and RX Harvest Botanicals, including strains like Granddaddy Purple, Wedding Cake, Gelato, and Peanut Butter Breath. These lacked proper tagging in the state’s inventory tracking system, preventing verification of required testing. Several pounds of marijuana were unreported in the mandatory seed-to-sale system, risking illegal diversion. The authority deemed the items unsafe. Patients who bought them should dispose immediately and consult a physician if experiencing adverse effects. The investigation continues, with no further operational details released. This action highlights enforcement priorities on compliance, tracking, and sourcing in Oklahoma’s medical marijuana program.
